Many people usually don't understand the pain of the "ankylosing spondylitis." As a third stage patient( total is four stages), this disease is a genetic lesion caused by a problem with the immune system. When it attacks, multiple eroded joints in my body feel pain, even my jaw joint feel the pain, too. If I don't take medicine, I will feel the pain like I am being stabbed into the pelvis when I am walking. I could only rely on medical treatment and stretching to reduce the pain and slow down the condition aggravated. Recently, medical development has found a way to control the disease better and might find a solution. Hope the new drug could come out soon!
This illustration is a symbolic way to explain my feelings when I am sick. If you have the same disease as me, you might be able to feel this artwork.
創作一張關於僵直性脊椎炎的插畫，通常很多人都不了解得這個病會有什麼樣的痛苦也不了解，所以身為一個僵直性脊椎炎第三期患者(總共四期)，簡單的來講一下感受。
這是一種免疫系統發生問題導致的遺傳性病變，每當方病時，身上被侵蝕的關節都會感到疼痛，輕則走起路來會如被刺入骨盆的痛，重則身上的某幾個關節處只要稍微彎曲都會疼痛不已，只能依靠藥物和伸展等運動來減輕和減緩病況加重。據說醫學現在讓這種只會惡化的病能夠更有效地控制，希望這個更好的治療方式趕快研發出來。
這張插畫其實也是具象的在解釋發病時我的感受，如果同為病友，應該很能體會。

I created ten pieces of illustration for a board game published by @flex_meta which is authorized by NBA. Now the new series includes three pieces of my art; feel free to get and collect them everywhere in @walmart !
It's always fantastic to see illustrations in different kinds of board games, and it was my honor that Flex NBA reached me and signed me as one of their artists' roster.
The interesting part of this project is there are some limitations about how to illustrate the players, but I can freely create the background and visual effects at my will. The illustrations need not only be approved by the game company but also passed by NBA officials and NBPA, which is also exciting for me.
I was delighted to create a Thanksgiving illustration for San Diego State University's Instagram on behalf of @stndigital. It was a true joy to be a part of spreading holiday cheer through art.

This illustration is the first book cover project I worked on; however, the project got killed in its last minute.
The story is about a young man who is experiencing his hard time, and confused about many issues and tended to erase his memory because he also has some new feeling which is beyond the friendship to his best friend.
The art direction was straight forward, so I only did different perspectives and move around the subject matters.

I'm proud to get the commission by New Balance Baseball to create five illustrations about MLB All-Star Francisco Lindor's story!
This illustration project describes how MLB All-star Francisco Lindor started became a superstar in the league and chasing his dream.
The series is full of fun that I can make it like cartoon style. To get the references for Francisco's childhood, I'm lucky to get it from his Instagram. According to the photos, I tried my best to reproduce all his memory into images.
The most challenging part for me is color choices. Based on the art direction, they need me to use blue, red, and light green in the image to connect to the product. However, these colors mostly remind me about EDM, clubbing or Fashion neon shows. So I tried my best to intend those colors in the main tone but still look like the warm childhood memories.

Here is the illustration I did for Georgetown University Alumni Magazine, and it’s about their students involved in "Lift Up Your Heart" program for Sursum Corda. It's a fun assignment that allowed me to describe this story in the graphic novel style. Many thanks to Georgetown University's Design Editor who picked me up for this project, and thanks to Washingtonian president James for the art direction. Also thanks to creative director Jason for recommending me to the project and the hint of the creative direction.
